| The above greeting just seemed to fit, since I'm the new proud owner of a 91 Buick Roadmaster Wagon Lusted after a big wagon for several years, but life, kids, motorcycles, and Jeeps always seemed to get in the way. About a month ago I started half-heartedly searching for a BRW, and lo and behold, I found one in KC that was in my price range ! So, after much pleading, a buddy agreed to take me North, and I was in love the minute I sat in it. LOVE how comfy and quiet this thing is going down the road ! Mine is a wood delete car with auto leveling suspension in the rear with cloth seats. Odo sits at 246,630 now, and all the power accessories still work ! So prepare thyselves, as I'll be picking brains from everybody from time to time | |

| Welcome! Everyone on here is glad to help. Really like the wood-delete models, harder to find.

| Welcome, welcome and we much warn you these wagons are highly addictive. You may begin wanting more than one wagon at anytime. There will no reason for this urge and the only cure is another wagon. You have been warned so whats your first modification planned for your new baby? Jim |

| Actually the picture makes it look lower than it really is.Only thing I have done is installed a set of 235/50/17 Conti,s on a set of 17x8 BBS wheels.Would not want to go much lower unless you run bags. These things are famous for dragging pipes and scraping the front airdam. In other words, dont go too low! | Thanx for the info and the sage advice.
I was planning a 1.5 inch drop all around. Too much ?

| Not really but you better be careful with what diameter tires you run with that drop.A 25 inch tire will turn that drop into 3 inches pretty quick. Jim |

| Welcome to the madness!! Not sure what you have been subject to in other forums, but in here we share our knowledge and opinions equally and freely. In the Ricer boards, if you copy someone, they get offended, in here it is encouraged. Hell, we'll even show up and HELP you with your mod.... if'n we can. We are enthusiasts and as long as you don't paint it with "fruit Loops" on the side and Donk the snot out of it, you are welcome here ( you are still welcome even if you DO Donk it, but we'll laugh atcha) Robert | |

| Donking snot is not recommended, while donking the crap out of it is in fact... well... come to think of it. not recommended either. As they say, welcome to the madness. (By the way... never listen to Krzdiamond. Yes HE IS our administrator, but he comes up with Krazy weird ideas.. like making a guy like me a moderator for the forum) Go figure? | |

I refused to fix my wife's mitsubishi and have 'punished' her with giving her one as a DD for the past 2.5 years. She's slowly coming around.... Seriously though, most ladies don't get it, but some just love 'em too....If she's really on the fence (or the other side), go peruse the wagon section of cuSStom.com and you can show her what you can do with one. Welcome aboard...Don't think I've ever seen a 91 Buick as a factory wood delete...they got more popular later.

| Glad to hear that other spouses aren't as on board as we'd like. Now if I could just get the Mrs to even LOOK at it, that'd be a step in the right direction. On second thought, at least she wont be trying to borrow it like she did my Dakota Any other members from Ks? | |

| I don't think "Loathe" fully expresses the fullness of my wife's distain of the wagon.
Although it's been made fully apparent to me (on many occasions) that several other words muttered under her breath in Italian do.

| OK I lied.
They weren't exactly muttered under her breath... but they were Italian.

| LMAO!
My better half makes no bones about sharing her very special opinion of the wagon to anyone that will stand still long enough to listen!

I'm actually quite surprised that no one has jumped all over this line yet. So much potential for humor there I'm presuming you were referring to the vehicle, and not a personal hygeine problem. Either way, it's not a pretty picture.

| welcome aboard, here is a way to get your wife to look at your wagon differently. I'm alive and walking today because of my 91 wagon. It was T Bonned by a Bell Telephone truck that was doing ove 60mph two weeks ago I doubt that I would be here writting about it had I been in a dakota pick up.... Sue use to tease and call the wagon nerdy/grampa-ish but she is happy that it saved my life and is looking forward to the new one once the insurance and lawyers are done.. | |

| I read about your accident Pat, and am grateful that you're able to doing anything, let alone be a valued member of a great forum. And yes, the crude leak is from the wagon, not from me......usually | |
