| Look like the set we bolted on my Dad's truck. 95 chevy 1/2 on 4x4. Bolted up nice, used the factory exhaust. Been on the truck about 3 years now running here in MI year round. Still look good, never had a leak, would recommend them myself... | |

| i,d wonder about ground clearance the way they aim straight at the ground, pickup motors sit higher up than a sedan does,. I have no reference to go by tho,..

| Never seen any info on these. After finding out just how easily the Afterburners fit, I stopped researching.
Best way to find out is to buy a set and try installing them. I can even help if you are located someplace close. Did just that a couple years ago on an Impala after numerous people assumed a certain Headman longtube would fit. Years of discussion and no one EVER bothered to read the fine print on the picture Summit had of the headers. Dude was very bummed when I told him to get a refund.
Finding cheap alternatives is always nice. Like the Dynomax OTA pipes that supposedly require LOTS of modification to fit a wagon properly. They don't. | |

| Yup, I did cut those to make them fit. Someone could fab up a replacement if you were really needing those. Guys I talked to have not had any issues though. | |

| And they were $175 when I got them. I have no problem cutting the braces. I was just curious. | |

| Look at the #1 pipe, if it was cut then run across the top of the other two then dropped straight down it,d work better,. these are a good deal and i think would fit better,.but a little more money,. might have to tweak the front pipe pass side,.? wagon 95 a few years back put long tubes ona 9c1, they were for an F body,. he said they fit just fine,. but they were not pacesetters, and i can't remember who,s they were, but the first pipe on the pass side came across the other two and then dropped in beside the last pipe giving no issues with a/c,. If you can find an old set of grotyohans (sp?) they were the best. My quad ones fit nicely too,. just a pigof a job doing up a couple of the bolts, so i bought bolts with recessed allen key holes in the heads of them, and the lositive locks for the outside,. nick | |

| thanks for the pics. My AC lines are located higher up in the engine bay (since my AC compressor is located where your alternator is), but they're still really close to the exhaust. what did you wrap the AC lines with? - brokecello wrote:
- Hard to keep them pretty when they live outside....but here is how I solved the AC issue. Driven about 600 miles do far with no issues. The trip to WFNY will really test it.

| Damn, that's a tight fit. I can't believe that the heat from those things so close to so many objects doesn't cause problems. | |

| This is what I used to wrap the AC lines and anything else close. This is pretty good stuff! http://www.summitracing.com/parts/THE-14000/I also used Magnecore wires, which are excellent for heat resistance. It looks like a tight fit, but there is room for air. (and I really put the heat wrap on thick too) I've had Tri-Y's before...but I just can't afford a set again. They fit so nice... Nick, I like that set you posted! #1 pipe is the issue indeed... | Will these above mentioned summit long tubes work on my 1992? Or are they LT1 specific for some reason? | |
