| Anyone know if it is practically possible to swap the gauge cluster from a 93 Roadmaster to a 95? I have just purchased a 95 in great condition and am considering using my tired 93 as a donor car....or maybe sell it. I do like the full gauge cluster package of the 93 a lot better then the 95, and would like to swap if tach, oil and water sensors, etc. can be also used. Would this affect the computer brain of the 95? Any advice, comment or recommendations? | |

| The 93 dash with the gauge cluster plugs into two large sockets that are on an inner dash panel. I would think it would be easier to rewire your hard lines to/from the back of the socket rather than directly to the dash. I did that when I switched over to a digital dash a few years ago. So make sure you get the inner mounting panel not just the outer dash Because I don't own a 95, only a 93 I can't speak as to the direct wiring issues, but there would be some compatibility concerns I would look into first for things like speedometer and odometer needs. What pulse per mile (PPM) is required, same or different. Find some Factory service manuals for both 93 and 95 dash wiring to help you. Others have previously mounted Camaro dashes in successfully as the arched dash was more compatible to later models than was the straight dash featured in the earlier years. there are few articles on the internet about that. Or you can do something like this, available through Summit. It is in a 93 dash, and is programmable to nail PPM perfectly. More photos on page twelve at my storage site of the actual mods to the inner mounting. https://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v655/lakeffect/#!cpZZ12QQtppZZ16

| I'm Italian. I love Spaghetti! FUGETABOWDIT!
Actually. It's in better shape now,but packed away for winter. I have a lower panel kick panel that still needs re-installation After I put the motor back together when the weather breaks, and I take some time off.

| That digital dash does look cool, but I am more "old school" and really like the full analog displays. The one thing I would like though is your ceiling console......is that stock in yours, or aftermarket? How is it wired? | |

Is there an instruction thread for one of those roof consoles. I'd like to read it myself. Is it a Blazer or Suburban/Tahoe console? Looks just like the one I had in our 96-99 Suburbans. Very cool mod!
