| My t56 car was almost identical to that one. It was an absolute blast - when I wasn't stuck in stop-n-creep traffic for hours on end. | |

| 4:10 gears. Those must be fun in SoCal traffic and great for fuel economy Also, it's not an original Cali car: Former police vehicle: Unit # 171 Borough of Pemberton, New Jersey | |

| Actually, 410s are what you should run with a t56. Mine had 373s and it wasn't enough. 410s put the shift points where they need to be whereas the 373s - at a legal highway cruising speed - wanted to lug in 6th gear, making the fuel economy WORSE.
Thanks for playing though.

| What about a 4.56 for these heavy wagons? |

| Nicks t56 wagon is a 456 car. I think crovo had them in his t56 fleetwood too. Ive never heard anybody with t56 regret 456s, but most peeps seem to really like the drivability of the 410s.
I guess it also somewhat depends on what t56 you get too. If you get that right one out of a 93 Camaro, it's geared so that your 410s feel like 456s, but you don't have the driveshft RPMs of the 456s.

You obviously know nothing about gearing or fuel economy with a T56.

well,. close,. but ,.... the gears in my car work out to be 75 rpm less at 70 mph, than an auto car with 3.73's i actually drove the car for a month as an auto with the gears in it, i could still do 120mph,. it would leave pretty hard for a stock motor, could hardly even get a squeak out of the tires,.
