| Got a hall pass from my wife for the day, so will spend Friday evening cleaning and detailing the Roady and it'll be in this show Sat morning.
Supposed to be sunny and 70 degrees this Saturday. Can't think of a better way to spend the day then in the ballpark lot surrounded by cool cars.
Who knows, the Roadmonster might win something! We'll see! I just wish I had some SEM left, the non-leather parts of my steering wheel are looking bad now...
Pics to follow the show,
-Mike | |

| I know we have some Texas members here. Sure would like to see some other wagons with mine. If any of the Dallas or South Texas members feel like a road trip, come on! It's only $15 to enter, for a good cause.
I'm tired of having the only Longroof wagon at the car shows!

| Hitting the car wash in the Roady at lunch and have the MeGuire's wax out in the garage waiting for me this evening.
Going to be in the 80's here today, but hopefully will be cooler this evening for waxing and detailing.
Looking forward to this show tomorrow!

| So it's about midnight...been detailing the car for hours getting ready for the car show, and wouldn't you know it, the driver's door window just broke! Went to put it down and it went down a bit and then THUNK fell forward. Think the front roller broke off. Got it rolled up but am bummed now...especially after all that cleaning!!
I've never had an issue with these on this car....

I hope the window itself isn't broken. Getting the glass out is a royal PITA.

| The most rare Mustang is the unmodified one!Kinda like a Harley Lorne.Thought your stang was a convertible.Think the white Mustangs are the best "Canvas" to work with as they just show everything better than the dark colors. Mike, quit lying you know you like being the only B body wagon at the shows.I am jealous of all the events you seem to have down in texas.Course your weather has something to do with that. I was going to say take plenty of pics but then I caught myself! |

| back in the day when they were just 'cars' I owned a 69 camaro green with green interior buckets column shifter with 307 2bbl and 2 spd slide, it was rusted pretty good in the quarters, it was my winter beater while my 70 442 W-30 sat in the shop.

nick I was really surprised when I saw the column shift on that red Camaro. Talked a bit to the owner, and he said that shifter gets more comments than anything else on the car. He said it's a great cruiser and he drives it all the time. Nice guy, sharp car.

| Looking at the Grand Prix again, folks must have had a tough time remembering their cars shift pattern and even that is gorgeous. That was an impressive bunch of cars.Enjoyed all the classic mustang fastbacks too. That black 57 was beautiful and pretty quick with the LS1,cant get over the detail under the LT1 Camaro convertible.Look at the headers and the emission tubing, its flawless.Texas has more than their fair share of awesome cars. |

Look like Mustang Bullitt rims. The sign looks like it says this as well. And it is the Mustang show...

| Yep, Bullitt wheels off my in-laws Fusion. He took it in for service and the A-Hole Ford dealer told him the offset was wrong on the Mustang wheels, and they were going to void his warranty if he didn't put the stock Fusion wheels back on. Idiots. Like have the population doesn't put different wheels on their cars after purchase. So the Fusion has the hubcaps back on it and he brought me the Mustang wheels to sell. Had them marked at $400 obo. Lots of interest, got offered $300, but I would not take less than $350. Putting them on Craigslist today. I honestly wish I have something to put them on...they are such a sharp design and the tires are like new. Oh well. | |

| So then uh... put the wheels back on, and put the stockers back on when you go to the stealership? |

That's what you and I would do, but the dealer scared him, so he wants me to sell them.

| Bummer. I think that's a crappy thing from that dealer. Me personally, I would call Ford customer service. If that were even remotely true, you'd see a whole bunch of out-of-warranty Mustangs on the road. |

| They really are one of the best looking factory available rims IMO. Classic styling. I've heard of folks putting these on fwd gm cars with the 5x115 bolt pattern. Not the greatest idea, but I haven't heard of anyone having any problems. In fact, a friend of mine ran marauder wheels on his 04 Impala for a year with no problems. Even passed inspection that way. I convinced him to take them off though. | |

| Seriously Mike, have him call Ford customer service. They can set the record straight. It's such an improvement I wouldn't sell. Plus he's probably losing his ass on the tires price wise anyway. Not worth the money if a simple phone call can fix it. |

I'll pass that idea on. That looks like such a rental car with the stock hubcaps.
