Called a guy parting out a wrecked 96 DCM limited Roady with red guts that was in the local classifieds. Took the hour drive to his shop and left with my Roady topped off with stuff. Grabbed the heated limited seats that were near mint, a driver's door panel, 4 alloys with one being a never used spare, and some other small parts. Looks like I have some wiring to do in my 95 DCM this spring when it gets out of storage Very Happy

The car this came out of was hit hard in the front. Whole front clip ruined, frame bent, doors hard to open. It was a real shame too, there was no rust on this thing and was very well taken care of in its 150k. The engine compartment shined it was so clean. This one was full loaded with every option including the memory seats and the tow pack. I asked him about the rear quarters and he wants $150 each to cut them out above the belt line. The DS one is mint, PS one has a dent in it. No rust inside or out on them.

Nice. A lot better than my junkyard time waste today. So what are your plans? It was a wagon, right?

Yeah, its a wagon. Plan is to wire this stuff into my "good" RMW and make it limited. Probably going to put the wheels on the 94 as I like these much better.

No but I think I might have to go back and get some more parts. I ran out of time today but know of some other stuff I want. The wood trim, well the parts that didn't get damaged from the wreck, were all in excellent shape with no peeling. I also gotta grab the sale panels. It's too bad the airbags deployed, it had a real nice dash in it.

Get the bumper. It's got to be better than the one you have now. I know your good rmw is in storage, so here's a pic to remind you of what your bumper actually looks like:

The stainless had a lot of dents and the rubber was missing. Now that I see that pic, I think the parts one does have a better bumper.

Hmm, but you had time to put them here?

I think that's why there is a Vendor section, so you wouldn't be clogging up posts with your sales pitch constantly.

I think that piece on the front door was trashed. If I make a trip back I'll grab any good wood trim left on that car.

NICE SCORE! Please be on the lookout for a red 1-piece center armrest lid. I totally understand you not wanting to break up the complete seats you nabbed. Sounds like a GREAT find!

Actually there is a line for RMW general trim in the list. It should cover the quarters. I do not list every part I have seperately, I do have a little bit of a life outside of the forum. I have a lot of other parts that are not on the list as well. I am not the only one who offers parts in threads, and I do not do it constantly.

I did nab 3 seatbelt covers in red for you. This is of course the day after I mailed the wrong color ones out after giving up hope (doh!).

Not sure of the fate of my old center yet. I have been wanting a real armest in my 1A2 since the day I bought it. The cover on my 95's is a mess and is probably a good candidate for a repaint. I'll keep an eye out for ya though
