| I will have lots of daytime pics tomorrow when I finish it...only the driver's side is done (and it was 9:30pm) So that was all the light I had! Part of why we had to stop.
I would like to tint the tails for sure...

Looks good. I'm using the same vinyl on my upper woodgrain trim. Looks great on the car. I love that look. I'm also going to use gloss black vinyl over my stainless. I was going to paint but thought it might chip or scrape in a parking lot. Good ol' vinyl should cover up most but the worst parking offenses. Can't wait to see more pics in the sun. I think the upper trim choice will make a big difference. I can imagine a few options all of them looking great.

It would really set it off well
^^This. The black chrome would look really sweet IMO, and it's fairly easy to do. As easy as polishing the trim, then spraying some of this stuff over it.

| the color difference is minimal and it almost disappears at a distance. Cool mod to keep the wood, without looking like you kept the wood......
I like this a LOT!
Patiently awaiting pics with all the trim installed.

| lay a strip of masking tape for a guide when trimming, use a ruler and do 1 ft at a time,. use a mahl stick to keep you hand steady,.
that way you won't "nick" the car,.

| that car is impressive. I love the dark wood grain. that should have been factory on the darker colors. having it dropped and put some dark chrome (or chrome lip/ black spoke) rims on it would set it off nicely | |

| Thank you all for the compliments! Its not perfect..but it sure looks a heck of a lot better than what was on there imo! Spent today stripping the trim...went for the satin black for now. Black Chrome would look nice, but Im starting to wear down..lol Dropping it is in the plans, was supposed to happen this weekend too...but it will have to wait for now. Putting the trim and doorpanels on tomorrow! Quick detail and then it should be ok to take to the Auto Fair this weekend. | |

| Oh he has a good plan for some rims I'm sure of it. It's almost there.
And the only thing I would have done differently would have been to leave the roadmaster front bumer on so the chrome would be there,.. and then cut the lower section off of the olds bumper and graph it onto the buick bumper.

| Well..keep in mind tgat I still have to add the chrome trim on the bumper too. Jarrod is working on custom wheels for me, so I think that and lowering it will help more. Pat and a coworker commented on the belt trim. So I might revisit that once the other things are done. Not a bad change for the money though! $110 for the wood, and $53 for misc supplies for paint and such. Just took a lot longer than I thought it would! Did not get any of my suspension upgraded at all. | |
