I found this truck in Brothers, OR which is an unincorporated area in Deschutes County, Oregon. Vast tracts of uninhabited land covered with sagebrush surround Brothers, which are often used for model and high power rocket launches. 2010 census says the population was 38 but estimate today is 21. If you forget to get gas in Sisters heading East, turn around........
It really is a Deserted Dodge Jim. Dick

How do you follow this? Two months ago, Dick wasn't even around, now he has been entered in the Guinness Book of Records for most posting for a Wagon of the Month.

But Tom, I was around. I just was not on the GM longRoof forum. I have been a car nut for over 50 years. I did not have that much to say yet about my Oldsmobile Custom Crusier. In two months I have put 2,500 miles on it so far. But, I had a different story with photos and you asked for it. Thanks.

Nick, I did not tow the Airstream today but did a function test on new lights wiring. Here is a photo. I will pull it to DMV Friday when I get paid. Oregon has no sales tax but they make up for it licencing vehicles. Ouch!! I have to change titles and register two cars, a motorcycle, and the trailer. More photos later of the combination on the road.

trying to figure out the expression on your wife's face
a. Oh man, he's taking more pictures of the car b. This car is a little too modern for our tastes with all these rounded curves on it. c. I can't wait to get to the camp ground and set up

The correct answer is "A". Oh man, he's taking more pictures of the car; But as you can see from the proceeding post, that is nothing new. Today I drove the OCC 305 miles to Everett Washington for work. Tomorrow back home. This is the most comfortable car I have ever owned. She loves to drive it too.
After I get the Airstream Registered in Oregon I will start a thread documenting our travels in the OCC and Airstream over the months ahead. One day in the future I will show up at WF.
Dick Next time I park here will be with the OCC.

Hey All, As May ends I look forward to reading about the LROM for JUN. It has been fun showing off my one at a time collection of old cars we have driven a million miles over the last 40 years. I got my OCC on MAR 22 with 51,000 miles and today it reads 55,455. Judy and I love this car. next week we will pull our Airstream with it for the first time. Pictures to follow in a new thread.
Thanks for all the compliments on my art work. Very Respectfully, Dick aka COL Deam THE END
