| $2,500..... good luck to 'em. Needs a good cleaning so it doesn't look like is sat around for 2 years neglected.

Mike I told him that, and bolting on the missing trim would help too. But it's solid, and with the documented low miles, I think it'll get some ok money. | |

| I bet I could make that look a lot better with some elbow grease over a few weekends. Some of ya'll may remember the yellow and gold '77 I fixed up a few years back. It was an Illinois car, but had been garaged and babied by my co-workers grandfather since new. He inherited it, gave it to his 16-year-old daughter, and she'd not taken care of it, and ended up getting rear-ended in the high school parking lot. The car sat next to his house for some months, and he was about to junk it, but offered it to me for next to nothing, I think $200 or something. I love these cars, as you all do, and depite the rear damage took pity on it. As purchased, still have plastic on the rear seat from new: After clean-up and detailing, new stereo and full tune-up Was a really clean and original car. Everything worked, and it was TIGHT an drove great. Not much I could do about the rear damage though That said I just gave the car to my friend Clare. She needed a gaily driver, and that car has been a great one, she still has it today. These were great cars. GM knew what they were doing with these. Roomy, quiet, easy to work on, the 77-79 have good pre-computer power and are so smooth. Hate to see the green one about with such low miles have all that rust under the hood and on the underside. It bet it would still be a good car for a while if it was gone through, but $2500 is a bit much in that condition. I do hope someone saves it! -Mike | |

| Oh and hey, this is funny. When I put the modern CD player in that yellow Caprice I removed the original working AM 8-track Delco. I'd never seen just an AM with the 8-Track option. I still have that stereo on the shelf at home. Funny stuff, it was too odd to throw away. -Mike | |
