i changed the tranny in the old gold roady agaian now its in limp mode ,.
i can seem to find out where the fuse is for the tranny any one know>? car was driving down to the shop with the pooched trans ,. and one of the ecm plugs wasn't plugged in properly and came out,. the car puked,.so i shoved it down to the shop and on the hoist with the neighbours pickup,.
changed the trans,. now its in limp mode,.
I replaced the short spring in the lockup valve with a much longer one to keep the valve at its fullest travel (95 trans into a 94 car)
but i must have blown the fuse?? but i can't find one that says transany where,..

Hang on, I'll go out to the garage and get the FSM...

Ok, I'm back.

In the FSM, "third gear only" says to inspect the following:
- Codes:
- 52 long system voltage high
- 53 system voltage high
- 66 3-2 control solenoid circuit fault
- 75 system voltage low
- 81 2-3 shift solenoid circuit fault
- system voltage
- 3-2 control solenoid

Haven't found the fuse(s) for the trans yet. If I had to guess, there isn't one. It is probably fused with the PCM. Check all the fuses in the underhood box with the relays.

The only fuse that specifically mentions the trans is #15 in the underhood fuse box, but it also controls the coil, ecm etc. This is the description:

15 - PCM IGN (10 AMP)
- IGN COIL
- ELECTRONIC TRANS.
- (PCM) POWER TRAIN
CNTRL. MDL.

Hope this helps

It's definitely underhood. It also powers the O2 sensors and the MAF. Forgive me for being obtuse but my FSM's are misplaced and I'm just going off of memory here.
