Misty and I jumped in the Cutlass and went to the local cruise-in tonight. Good times! For going to the cruise-in, I had to take her for dinner afterwords....fair trade for a "date" and car show. Ha!
For the newbie's or anyone local, this is a free weekly "bring-what-you-got" cruise-in at the intersection of hwys 183 and 1431 in Cedar Park Texas, just north of Austin.
Got there at dusk, so cell phone pics are a bit dark and grainy, sorry. Good news is on the 40-mile round-trip tonight, the new 350 in the Cutlass never got over 200-degrees on the gauge. Guess it just had air in the system still when it ran a little hot Friday. Car ran super too, the 350 is really breaking in well, gets smoother and feels better with ever mile, and the new engine was a hit at the show. I didn't paint under the hood today but cleaned A LOT. It helped.
Here's some show pics, enjoy!
Getting to the show, engine is a hit (but need to peel off the dumb K&N sticker)
