| I always have a search going on Ebay for wagon springs. Today, something popped up I've never seen before. A search here shows that no one has posted it before. Belltech 5105 Pair of rear springs for wagons only 2.75" drop List $215.25 Summit has them for $172.20 but I saw them for cheaper elsewhere (not posting the elsewhere since I've never dealt with them but you can search for them yourself). | Almost 3 inches is a lot of drop considering the stock ride height is pretty low. |

| Anyone ever use these? Just want that slammed look. I don't want to be hacking the car up though to put a monster notch in or bag it.I was in between these springs and the other one Belltech makes that drop the car like 1.5" in the rear. | |

| When you install them, you will get a lot of negative camber. Measure the top of the wheel to the top of the arch of the wheel opening BEFORE you install the springs,, and WRITE IT DOWN. After you install the springs measure it again, and WRITE IT DOWN. Subtract it from the first measurement, and you can remove .030 inches of shims from each stack for every .5 inches of drop to restore your camber to the correct setting. Your caster will not change if you remove the same amount from each stack. You should also get new locking nuts for the studs if you have tightened them more than twice. | |

| I ran the Bell Tech #5830 spring kit on my 93 roadmaster. That's the kit with all 4 springs. Also used their nitrogen charged front shocks. I have 20" Boss 338 rims with 255/40 up front and 295/40 out back. Had to put and knuckle on each side up front in the springs. It sits and rides nice. I don't know if you can see my avatar pic. I don't know how to add a photo. | |

| I don't even think it dropped the car 2.75". Maybe 2" hard to tell with the airshocks running. I am gonna make them so I just fill them up with what I need and ditch the compressor. When I saw that comment I thought the same thing but to some 3" can be a lot. Me its almost never low enough until it bagged and bodydropped. Trying to be good on this car though because its gonna be a daily driver soon and I already have a built Titan Prerunner. | |

| I am looking at replacing the springs in my roady. I'd like to lower it a little with the Belltech kit #5830 which drops it 1.5 inches. Do I have to run a different shock if its lowered? | |

You should probably run drop shocks on the front for sure. Running them on the back may block the removal of the tire. If you do not run drop shocks on the rear, you should weld a 3-4 inch piece of exhaust pipe to the upper spring perch, and tiewrap the spring to the lower perch to keep the springs from falling out when you jack the car.

You can adjust the arm on the potentiometer at the rear axle to lower the air ride height. If you do not adjust it, the shocks will pump back up to the standard height.
