Dezer Car Collection

So yesterday morning I'm about to get busy with any number of chores around the house.

I then get a call at 9:30 AM as I'm pulling out tools to work on Ruby with my boy. It's
Cmdr. Flash Gumby with a proposition. How would l like to go to Miami to see a private car collection with the Gold Coast British Car Club (He's a member, I just show up at thier events occasionally).

There are a number of private collections down here that get opened every now and then. I have never heard of this collection so I figured I better jump at the oppurtunity as it might not come again soon. As it turned out it's open to the public, and while not 100% built out (several rooms in the second building still under construction) it is IMPRESSIVE!!!

Apparently the guy is a biz partner with Donald Trump and has a couple of dollars to play with....

Over 1200 cars! Come to find out, he has more cars in NY and Vegas! The guy has rooms (yes plural) of James Bond movie cars, a room full of Batmobiles (and 3 or 4 more that didn't fit in the room), a Micro car collection that was ridiculous, probably the largest scooter collection in the universe.

The best part of it is that it is a eclectic collection. Not your everyday Mustang, Chevelle, Corvette stuff. The weird, unusual, super rare, etc.

And the movie cars! Holy Crap! Dragula, Greased Lightning, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones trucks, Madonna's Dick Tracy Auburn Speedster, What seemed like the entire cast of cars from the Flintstone's movie, blah blah blah.... I got some pics too

I would love to upload the over hundred pics I have.....but my corporate laptop and photobucket seem to be having a disagreement. I dunno what they did at work, but I can't get to any of the upload screens that worked just fine a week ago

I will have to transfer all photos to my home computer when I get it rebuilt in a few days (hard drive on order).....this blows.

It was either a 48 or 49 don't recall. He also had a beautful Caribbean, on that one the cormorants wings were open.
