| Well, I have managed to secure a 40X40 bay for 2 days next week (Monday and Tuesday) to start the obligatory facelift. I started the wet sanding today.... more checking the quality of the clearcoat than anything else... and will finish the orange peel removal, wheel polishing, seat cover replacement, and general cleaning up in the bay next week. So far it looks like a previous repair (not by me) has reared it's ugly head and the passenger front door will need repainting.
There was some MINOR rust spots from neglected rock chips that will need attending to and the grill will need to be re-shot. Fixed the rear bumper cover (still need to sand) and cleaned the engine bay.
All this while repainting my son's 350Z.
Pics will be forthcoming when I'm done.
Anyone remember where the Odometer mileage reset write-up was? The last mileage on record for me was 74XXX and I now have a considerably more on it now.

| There is a difference between the small mirror doors and the big ones on the trim that runs along the bottom of the wind glass. The older cars have a break in the trim that is hidden by the mirror, new ones don't . Does the drivers side have the same?

| No break in the trim, but you can replace that too..... Been working on her a little each day (30-60 minutes at a time) at a friends bay so it has taken a LONG time to get to where I am now.... So, without further adieu... Polished/buffed part of the hood the first day: A closer look 50/50 a couple of days later, I FINALLY have the drivers side done.... and today, I found RUST!!!!! and also picked up a bunch of these to install when I get her all cleaned up...... | |

Because when the trophy wife no longer wins trophies..... Seriously, I'm just tired of her. The wife's G8 is tighter, faster, quieter, and has more "toys", although not as comfortable (but VERY close) - 81X11 wrote:

Not sure yet, KBB says it's worth $5111 stock and NADA claims $4300 stock Like a Playboy bunny, she is full of aftermarket parts and this girl is not stock.

| For Y'all, 4 grand and I'll deliver up to 100 miles (I can't walk any farther than that)
Will be on Craigslist and the usual venues about mid to late next week for $5500 OBO (but I will use the car show pics for effect)

| Wet sand and buff at this pojnt, but I did reclear the tailgate and passenger front door. Passenger rear quarter has been repainted twice, once before I got it, and once after. Tim, like I said on the phone.... He has until noon today to get me a check, otherwise I still get to drive it home | |

http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/cto/3250990896.html Uhm, dang. That thing looks really sharp. And the seller says he'll cut it up at the end of the month? Say it ain't so! Someone certainly needs to give that thing a good home! One would think it was worth a lot more than the asking price...how many can be left? Before anyone suggests it, I don't have that kind of money sitting around. And I wouldn't be able to keep it indoors like it deserves.

that and I DESPISE red interior..... OUCH, Fort Hood I'm fairly sure was chosen because it is the hottest place on earth. People vacation to Nevada to cool off. It's only an hour from Austin but always seems to be 10-degrees hotter up there in the summer. I also think there is an invisible dome over Killeen that keeps rain and weather other than sun from happening. You sir are a tough person! -Mike
