| Subject: I Don't Care What the SPID Says, This Car Doesn't Have Woodgrain Sun Sep 02, 2012 7:12 pm | |
| As part of the "build" on my '93, as most of you know I stripped the woodgrain as it wasn't really my thing. Well, obviously the stainless trim was left behind. Not anymore. My father and I (ok, mostly my father) did the bodywork on the drivers side. Clearly he didn't pass on his body work skills to me. Who knew he could do this stuff?! Tomorrow our neighbor is coming over, and he'll be tacking in my quarters (finally!). Next weekend if the warm weather holds out we're going to prime the car and hopefully before Thanksgiving it'll be going in for a fresh dip of GM 40 White Few pics: Before: Bondo thrown down over the ground down studs/ welded in holes: Post sanding: Shot of primer, still a bit low on one part, going to put a touch more filler in and should be good Few other pics: | |
