well i got the cc623's in today, put some used airlifts in them, not sure if they are going to work, but im going to wire in the whole compressor system, if the bags dont work ill buy the correct ones , put the brand new edelbrock shocks in and couldnt put the tires back on, so they came back out, pain in the ass, now im going to put the almost new air shocks from my crashed roadie plus the fronts , i know i will be tired when finished... then i get my junkyard find caprice tailpipes installed i should be ready for a roadtrip next month up to new hampshire ... opps almost forgot putting in new a/c delco plugs

the edelbrocks have about 1" less travel than your stock shocks. 28" tires are tricky, but not impossible to remove and reinstall.

Ask Mike what he plans to put on his new OCC. I can only vouch for what I used after reading every forum post about shocks.
$289 including shipping, over the life of the car is not bad.

I love my Monroe SS shocks. Firmed the car up quite nicely, FWIW.

Monroes were to stiff in the front for me with Impala SS springs. I like my Bilsteins.

I had Monroe SS's on the front of my 96 Roady and they were too harsh for me. They were fine on smooth roads, but on older roads the car did not ride like a Buick anymore. I didn't like the change in my dash tray rattling over highway expansion joints. Switched to KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and loved those. Smooth and stable, with no float, and got a very good price through Rock Auto.

I'm going to put a set of KYB's and variable-rate rear spings on the new OCC as soon as funds allow.

In my case it's terminal...

I put Bilsteins on mine along with the cargo coils and can't believe how much it improved the ride and handling.

i got to drive it today, couldnt do the fronts, they were coming off the parts wagon, but couldnt access the top nut on the side that got hit, fender needs to be cut off, so i went and had my junkyard tail pipes i got the other day put on, they look real good for the price, only paid $10 each off a 93 caprice , the ride was real nice , cc623 and air shocks , fronts in a couple days as time permits

CC623s are now in my wagon.

Oh my god. What a difference. Raised the rear about 2 inches. I wonder how much it will settle. They're fantastic, though. Best purchase in awhile.
