| What a great place for a new owner of a classic piece of Americana! I've already picked up lots of tips from you guys. Many thanks. I live in Georgetown, SC, near the coast between Myrtle Beach and Charleston. I picked up this baby, which I call the "Blue Bomb", for a song from a fellow church member. Right before I bought it, he had put two new front tires on it and changed the oil for a cost close to $300. It just turned 117,000 miles and has been meticulously maintained. All the receipts and warranty service are in the glove-box. It has matching blue leather seats front, middle and rear. My wife and I bought it because our 17 y/o daughter needed a car. In total reverse logic, she wound up getting my wife's 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, I kept my reliable 2000 Plymouth Breeze, and the wife got the "Blue Bomb". She likes it because of the space. She's a massage therapist and needs room to haul a portable massage table and other junk around with her occasionally. I wanted my daughter to get the Breeze and for me to get the "Bomb", but she refused to bite. This is what happens when you have two women against one man! Call me a wimp! I work out of my home repairing computers, and don't drive much, so having the "Bomb" used occasionally by me made more sense, but women don't think that way. The previous single owner called it his "Powder Puff" because of the smooth ride. It was obviously a member of the family to him and he treated it that way. He and his wife recently relocated to be closer to family, as they are getting older, and this sweet ride just didn't fit in with the new living plans. I've got pretty much everything working except a reliable keyless entry system (very intermittent) and the two back seat power windows which get out of alignment when rolled up and down. You can still coax them to go back up manually. Thanks to you guys, I found the jumper wire for programming the keyless entry in the spare tire wheel well. Sometimes the fobs work, sometimes they don't. They have fresh batteries and have been checked for obvious problems. I've taken the TRW box apart to see if any capacitors were leaking and found nothing wrong. I understand that the rear windows had problems with the guides. I need to search around for more info on that. In the meantime, we just don't use them. The antenna refused to come up, but I was able to stick a screwdriver down the hole and coax it up into a permanent "up" position. Also, the oil pressure gauge is erratic. It was supposedly fixed twice under warranty. WRONG! I've also ordered two new gas assist lifts for the rear window. That's about it! Anyway, I'm glad to be here and hope to contribute if possible. I'll take some more pics and post them later when the dew dries off and the light is better.
Thanks!

| By the way Marty ............WELCOME. This forum is invaluable to the B Body wagon crowd. Mine is the only OCC I have seen in Oregon and Washington state since I got mine in March. What is wrong with people? I do get a lot of dropped jaws and compliments on our (now 60,320) car. Dick Deam aka COL | |

| Welcome to the forum. I've only had my '92 OCC a little over a month, and am still getting the bugs out too. As long as your rear door window motors work, the issue is rollers, and it's not terribly hard to fix them. Lots of info on how-to, so if you need a link please let me know, if you have trouble finding it. As for the antenna, here is a quick how-to: https://gmlongroof.4umer.com/t1770-i-have-a-working-power-antenna?highlight=antennaI'm trying to bring my keyless-entry back to life on my car too. Such fun. Again WELCOME! -Mike
