I am gueesing yes, but I really need to get places and now I have to wait till Monday

Probably wont stay on long enough to damage it!

Well I guess I leave this post to thank pep boys for changing my pulley for free. at first they said no because it didnt come from them, but a worker took me to the back and said "dont worry, I got you" gave him ten bucks anyway , have a bless day guys.

That was nice of him,glad you got them switched.Didnt think they even shipped alternators with V belt pulleys anymore!

I had the v belt pulley on the old alternator on my cavalier.
I just found out My brothers 87 regal is driving it with the Serpentine pulley on the alternator,
