| ...this: I'd like to remove it to paint it since it's shipping so badly. I was just going to sand it and shoot it with some rattle can Krylon Gloss or Satin Black. | |

| I was just going to say go out and drive 90mph for a few miles, should fly right off, but thn realized you want it, lol.
Seriously though, if taking it off, remove both sides and reglue with windshield adhesive otherwise you will be looking for replacements soon enough. | |

| You might want to just sand it and tape it off....and also sand the rest of the pillar trim there behind it and on the fronts of the doors. To me it'd look better than just painting that one piece black, and others have done it before with nice results. And it scares me to remove the "flyoff" trim. Yes the 3M stuff works well, but I've seen too many wagons missing this part. Oh and Stain Black works well! Thanks Mike... so you didn't even remove yours? I dodn't paint mine. Thankfully they were still good on my '96, however if I'd had bad paint on mine I would have done this mod. I like the look with the black pillars, and if you ever tint the windows it'd really look sharp. -Mike | |
