i was thinking the mounts for the rear lower control arms looks weak and was thinking of boxing it up. i saw in hot rod dec 2012 they had a buick skylark that they used a brace from ccp thatbeefs up the mount. here it is http://www.classicperform.com/Store/1964_1972_Chevelle_Elcamino/6467TAMB.htm

they say it is adjustable was wondering if it would work on our cars what do you guys think ? Has anyone done anything to beef up this area?

i was thinking of welding a flat plate across the top of mount. i also think i could do this on upper arms mount but i dont have a pic. i think i would just have to make sure when the arms go up thay dont hit the plate

the ones I have are actually reproductions of the factory ones used on the mid 80's hurst olds 442 cutlass's. they are not adjustable, just part of the f41 suspension package on certain cutlass's
