| I just recently purchased a 1994 Chevy Caprice Wagon with 38,000 original miles. 5.7 liter with every option. Gray interior. Not sure if i want to cusomize it, leave it alone or just sell it to someone who would appreciate its "stockness" if thats a word.
I have long been a Mustang guy...Dont delete me already, I've a few chevy's too.
Let me know what you think.

| Thats a more than fair price for a 38,000 mile Caprice.Welcome to the group and there's nothing wrong with a Mustang especially a 68 fastback,a bonestock fastback! |

| Swing the tailgate out and there's an option code sticker inside behind the right taillight. Post up a pic and we can help you figure out what mechanical options it has.
I would not mod that car. There are not many cars left in that condition and if you modify it, you will only hurt its value. About the most I would do is springs and shocks. | |

| That's one beautiful wagon! With the low mileage and condition it's in...I would not modify it. Mine is a year older, has more miles (86,xxx), isn't quite that clean and I don't plan to modify it. Just swapping one Delco radio (the stock UM6) for another Delco radio (UX1, with AM stereo) was enough to make me feel guilty, so I didn't do it. | |

| [quote="200OZ"]Welcome, I checked out your ad..... Yeah, that's a nice car, really nice. White no wood, gray cloth, no tow pack. I would think ebay would be your best bet though. How did you end up owning it?
I was at the right place at the right time. Seriously though. The original owner drove a 1951 Packard antil she bought this new in 94. She drove it some, but covered it in the barn, got the Packard repaired and drove it until she passed. She willed the car to an older lady who took care of her to the end her life. This lady drove the car (very little) until she passed in 2006. This is how the dent got in the rear drivers side, she kept it in her 7' wide garage. Its incredible it only has so little damage. She willed the car to her son who heartbroken parked it in his garage covered until about 40 days ago. He pulled it out, put tires on the rear, a new batttery and put it up for sale. Its really an amazing time capsule. Still smells new.
Thats the story. | |

| According to the codes, it does not have the towing prep package, the heavy duty suspension, the heavy duty cooling or the limited slip differential. The rear axle ratio is 2.56 vs. the 2.93 option. So it loses some points to enthusiasts but it's not suprising that the woman ordered it that way. 1994 models always bring a bit less due to their smaller side mirrors and older radio setup. The car market seems to be pretty dead right now so if I was you I'd just see what offers come along. If you really want to move it, clean it and detail it, take 50 pictures, and post it on Ebay. | |
