| Has anyone painted the plastic cowl covers on their car? Mine are a bit faded, and don't look all that great unless it's sprayed down with armor all or something similar. It washes off quickly and is back to being ugly. So I was thinking of painting them gloss black, or semi-gloss black with the Krylon Fusion plastic paint..... Good idea? Anyone have a better one?

| The F-body guys do this all the time. I've even seen a few sand and fill and paint them body color. It makes for a nice clean look. | |

| You could always grab a couple of sets from the junk yard and experiment with them. Then put the ones you like on the car. They are cheap. | |

| I've got a few sets to practice on, but I think the Fusion semi gloss black paint is the ticket.
That one piece cowl is cool, but not for a daily driver. | |

| I saw an SS at Daytona that had a cowl that looked to be clear coated, it actually looked pretty good as it was. | |

| Maybe the roof rack surround should be the same color.
