Another guy in the work parking lot just asked me what year my Caprice wagon is. I didn't even correct him, just said 1992.

I need to paint a rocket on the hood and tailgate I guess, or just give up and put Chevy badges on it.

Certainly an understandable mistake, Mike. Even if you plastered 'OLDSMOBILE' on every side, there's always gonna be some person with no clue come along..... You could also fool them all and turn the CC into a faux Pontiac..... it's been done.

My dad has called every single B-body wagon I've ever owned a Buick, and only one has been a Buick.

You should get the caprice badges and splice them together.

That's why I like my wagon. No badges on it. Chevrolet on the caprice grill, Buick hood ornament, impala ss wheels and a license plate frame on the back that says Cadillac.

Mike,
I guess you should have added that OLDSMOBILE emblem on the hood like you posted about when you got the OCC.

When I'm in my Austin Healey, I get:

"Nice MG!"
"Is that a BMW?" (Which is funnya s BMW now owns the brand)
"My Dad/uncle/grandpa used to have a TR3 just like it!"

On the flip of that when I bought Ruby in 2007 and had her all shiny, I had a guy at the grocery store think is was 2007 and was raving about the mondern lines on it.....

It's funny to us in the know, but not everyone cares about cars.
