Oh man, It sucks to have to miss this, especially after the winter we're having, but I'm in the middle of a bathroom and kitchen re-do, and I've got a porch planned, so I need the $$ and vacation time. Make sure you take lots of pictures, folks, and I'll see some of you in New York this summer.

I pre-registered for the show...now that my car is being painted.

Got the OK, so I'm in. I have a basketball tourney to go to on Friday night, so will be heading up early Saturday and staying at the host hotel for Sunday.

Hopefully the kids won't be too tough on the Wagon on Friday night!

going to wax and detail the wagon today..last day to do it.will be putting on about a 1000 miles the next 2 weekends..getting excited.

Ok Guys I have not had a great day first I dropped my laptop on the kitchen floor taking a chunk out of it.
Next I stopped buy the painters long story short the car will not be done for the Fest he needs to massage the passenger side and rear door. The filler prep work was not as good as it could have been so he is redoing it.
I'm just anxious to get it home...I have painted motorcycles before and should have tried to do this myself it is just that time is limited because of work (of all things).
Stingroo has been able to accomplish so much I'm jealous.

My thoughts today were to cancel my trip but I need a vacation even if just a few days so if you won't shun me I will bring one of my other cars.. I would like to meet everyone and enjoy the show and good food. jeff

Don't worry about not having your wagon, you won't be the only one. I have 2 wagons and a Fleetwood. I will be driving a Grand Marquis.

Yes Jeff, you should still come anyway! Each car entry has up to four people per car, so getting a ride it will be nothing. Depending on what else you bring, they may or may not honor your entry pass as they are sticklers on late model non-hot rods. (new camaro is ok, but a rare civilian PPV Caprice was denied last year as it 'looks like a grocercy getter') Either way you are gauaranteed entry with another wagon as a passanger (i've actually ridden 5 in and they didn't say anything)

I''d just say that you should come and ride in with one of us. Hell, I need a videographer you and your boy can ride in the gunner seat with the window open and film the procession, lol.

We all survived! Sun is out and all is well now. Looking forward to the BBQ tonight!!

What a day!! We all scattered when the Police showed up...after Cory had a "hey, hold my beer" moment in his new wagon Dusty.

Hats off to Sprocket for making this an awesome event.  And Fred is one heck of a grill master too!
