Reset required for AC after using heater ? Empty

After I've used the heater, the A/C compressor will not run unless I disconnect the battery followed by the two 30-second resets...... Any Ideas how to fix this?

You may need some refrigerant. I have never had an issue with my climate control other than it leaks a little. You need an FSM to troubleshoot the climate control system. If you have the rear window defroster, I have a couple of head units, but some of the buttons are broken.

My system still runs ice cold on r-12!.... My problem is that after running the heater, the a/c compressor won't power up until after I disconnest the battery and do the two 30 second resets.... I'm okay with disconnecting and re-connecting the battery, but would really like to change from heat to a/c without raising the hood..... I guess I'll consult the FSM....

Run the temp up and down to the maximums. I think that is supposed to calibrate the system.
