| Found two sets of Bonnies today at the local salvage yard. They must pull everything yard rules. What are some prices you guys have seen, what is a fair price for them. One set just needs cleaned, the other needs recovered. Floor console was available too... | |

| Most yards around here charge $100 for a set of seats, front and rear. Thats if you pull them however. | |

| The ones that need recovered are worthless. The other set depends on the color. What do they want for them? $50 for each front should be tops. U-Pull-Its, about $30 per seat without power tracks. $60 each with tracks. | |

| Mine were $40 for the pair, about 3 years ago. I pulled them myself.
Mine were 6-way power "SE" cloth seats, not the SSE style with all the bells & whistles.

| Are they the 6-ways with the controls on the seats, or the fancy seats with the controls in the center console? If they are the fancy ones, make sure you get the controller and the wiring harness between the seats. If that harness gets cut, it's a bear to put everything back together. There's over 20 wires going to the control switch.
And yes, if the leather is shot, then seat is worthless.

| Thanks for all the imput. Cost of recovering seats must be catastrophic? The fit of those seats is just so superior to the factory seats...imho. | |

| Go look up the cost of new leather. For the Impala SS, Roadwire sells a kit for $900 retail. An upholstery guy quoted me $300 to install it. | |

| They are impossible to find in usable shape around here. Even if they are decent, some jerk has thrown greasy engine parts onto them.
The local Pull A Part is beginning to get vehicles from 01+. The seats in those year Bonneville and Monte Carlo are tempting to try.

| I got lucky with mine. The yard is out in the woods so not very well known by u-pickers...I got a set of blue bonnies in decent shape, they have another charcoal cloth set in perfect shape I'm going back for to re-sell. | |
