| I've been doing some slow work on my wagon when home... still many things to do... wet sanding ect, paint the wheel wells, new headliner, carpet, power wash the under carriage and the list goes on. I like it without tint opinions? A good bath and brakes are the next project. Jeff " /> " /> " /> " /> I like the coke bottle shape of the wagon sides without moulding... I'm waiting to locate OCC taillights before trimming the rollpan...

| Wow looks good! As much as I like the clean no molding look, too many idiots around me that just fling their doors open all the time. Even with them I still get dents.....just not as many...
Have you tried Chevy tails in there as they are longer than Buick but shorter than Olds ones....

| Nice and smooth. You might pull the rear wheels and shoot the brake drums black. Its the little things!
Nice car! Thanks for sharing your pics!

| Looks sweet! I am a fan of tinting, especially on a car with the heavily modded look. Helps keep the car cooler, too, of course. | |

| Yep the tinting really helps with how fast the car cools down here in Texas. With so much glass and no rear a/c it's pretty much a must-do mod. | |

| If it were mine, along with the window tint that others have pointed out, I'd paint the black plastic around the tail lights white to match the rest of the car. An inexpensive mod that would homogenize the lo of the exterior.

Tom Hey Tom, I mapped it Thursday as well... I plan on making the trip with my son and the dogs noticed the host hotel is not dog friendly so we will find something close. On a side note was to leave on vacation yesterday visiting family in Michigan but ended up spending the day with doctors.. I lost clear vision in my left eye this happened to my right eye nine years ago the retina specialist says my optic nerves are narrow. This carries blood and waste to and from the eyes. So the flow was blocked or disrupted he says i'm more prone to this and there is no treatment for the condition. Driving is a little harder but better than yesterday.....Jeff

| Jeff, I think they are dog friendly, providing they are small and in cages. But who knows if they are in cages once they are in the room. I will call them up and talk to the guy I'm dealing with. It may take a couple of days to get a hold of him.
I know when we go through there and have big Jake, we can't stay there.

| I've been doing a little more over the last few weeks. Installed new carpet. I would recommend 3 rolls of the peel and seal I ran a little short the roll is 6" x25' Out with the old. " /> The floors look good no rust a little scaling in one 3"x2" spot on the passenger toe board and some white paint peeling off. Cleaned and painted in POR 15. Laid the Peel and Seal. Installed carpet and put it back together did very little trimming and no steaming to get the fit right though it was in the sun for two days and relaxed can use a little more padding over the central hump. Installed a new radio and like very much...... also have new speakers but haven't done those yet because there is no distortion from the current speakers. And yesterday had the tint installed cuts the heat but I do like the look without. This is the first car I have ever added tint to the windows in 20 years in the South. So next is a black lower moldings, console, steering wheel. wet sanding and exhaust maybe in that order...Jeff | |

They did not but think the seller would install if you ask. I bought the carpet off ebay I believe the seller is ACC's retail store in Anniston AL they were great to work with and shipping took one day. The factory code as I remember for 94 through 96 tan is 9777. The front and rear mat set with front color logos is $134.00 from ACC as well. Jeff

| Loving the looks of the Bama-Mobile....thanks for the tip about sun power versus steam. Ive wanted to tackle this project but was afraid of major wrinkles. One question. Is the dog in the picture with the removed carpet wearing a diaper? Not judging, just curious... | |

| Thats Maggie (aka Turbo).... she was abandoned on my street and is crippled in her back legs. I understand many dachshunds suffer this because of the long back and a short rib cage.
I don't always take the diaper off outside as it protects her when she drags her butt. She has a home with us now and my other dogs are really good with her.

| Thanks Guys for all the feedback and likes if you use the ACC carpet add about 3/4" thick extra jute padding on the central trans/driveshaft hump front and back of the support that runs about middle of the seats. Jeff | |
