| We just turned over 100,000 miles yesterday on the Custom Cruiser. We have been pulling our 1958 Airstream and have traveled 5,000 miles so far. We spent every night in the trailer since 26 February. The car has been an excellent tow vehicle.
We spent three months in Baja California, Mexico and are in Gunnison Colorado now for a Vintage Airstream rally. Having a great retirement so far. I can count the B-body wagons that I have seen on one hand. Dick

Is your OCC a factory towpack car? Our OCC is a factory tow pack. I added an auxiliary transmission cooler and changed the rear end from 3.23:1 to a 3.73. Pulls great in the mountains. We are going from here back to the Oregon coast then to Mulege' Baja Mexico in October. Dick

| I am hoping to do the same with my 95 RMW. It's got 123,00 miles. Currently planning on a Casita 17. | |

| Nick, Maybe in 2015 or 16. Wife and I still have elderly mothers in California and Colorado. We are visiting one next week and another in October before we go back to Mexico. Dick......... - phantom 309 wrote:

| Nice! Would love to see pics of your Airstream. How big is it?
What kind of mileage do you get when you are towing?
We have a 1966 Streamline 26' that we tow with a 2004 Tahoe. But I'm considering picking up a RMW as a tow vehicle.
Oh, and we are looking at Baja in December, where do you go?

Oh, and we are looking at Baja in December, where do you go? We get about 14 MPG pulling the trailer. It is a 22 foot Flying Cloud. We bought a place in Mulege, (Moo-la-hey) Baja California, Sur, Mexico. It is 625 miles south of the border. Mexico's main road is Hwy 1. It is a good surface most of the way but narrow and no shoulders. Look us up. Are place is number 21 in the Orchards. Dick

| That's good mileage! We get about 12 mpg pulling our 26, Streamline with our 2004 Tahoe.

| Very nice, not the mud obviously. Any issues with the hitch, ground clearance, etc?
