My steering feels "gritty", like a SLIGHT loss in power steering pressure. Except there's no accompanying sound, and it in fact is more prevalent turning left than right, and is also such that it's grittier when the steering wheel's upside down.
This thing didn't have power steering for two months at one point. Maybe that hasted a steering gearbox failure. It ALSO sat for a decade.
I also tried greasing all of the chassis points.
I'm THINKING that my recirculating ball steering's been converted to recirculating oval steering. Or SOMETHING is wrong with my steering gearbox.
We can rule out belt issues. Power steering pulley, pump, hoses, belt, and belt tensioner are all under 6 months old. I also did a full fluid flush.
It's a '92 RMW.
