Wagonfest Florida Hotel Info

UPDATE: ALL DISCOUNTED ROOMS ARE BOOKED.  As of Sunday 2/7, they only have 7 more rooms on the property.  

There are other hotels withing a mile, La Quinta and Days Inn come to mind. Hotel is at the US 92 I95 interchange, so search accordingly if in need of a place.

There are 20 rooms reserved for us All rooms are $69.00 per night  plus tax so figure $78ish a night out the door.

Price went up $7 a night as the hotel is undergoing a renovation/upgrade.   Breakfast still included

I can call and reserve as many rooms as needed. Cutoff date is the 15 March, BUT remember, there are others that will be at the show.

I NEED a list of people and number of rooms/beds wanted ( double or King) so I can block these off from the general public.

YOU are still responsible for reserving the room, I am just BLOCKING OFF the rooms.

I will be there for Friday and Saturday nights, an want a king.

I'll be in for one room. Just figuring out if I'll need a single or two bed room.

That makes 6 rooms. Half way through our allocation.

Last year we had around 20. There are day trippers from Orlando ands Jax that come down. Last year about another 10-15 cars showed up at the hotel Sat nite too

this will be my 3rd year in a row attending. i think i will be needing a double bed room as i plan to bring the family again.

I got a double bed room (same price) just in case someone needs a place to crash. Like last year, right Ray?

What happens at WF stays at WF...

Google says 14 hours from my door to the Speedway.  Really thinking this one through. Turkey Run site doesn't say anything about wagons, how are we handled?

I have been away since Wednesday night due to wife having surgery. Just got home. Will update the PM's soon.

All questions will be answered by tomorrow night.

No problem bringing in your wagon. Just put the kind of car you have down, don't sweat what their online reg says. We have been taking wagons to this show for the last (at least me) 3 years. We all drive in as a group, last year maybe 15 wagons? It's a fun show, wagons or not. Plus, who wants to be in Ohio in March when you can be in Daytona Beach, Florida?

Stewed just make sure to pre register online. No one that's been pre registered one of our wagons has ever had an issue.

I misread, got one booked for 2 doubles.

In years past if we went over the ten rooms as long as you said WF, they kept adding them on. I think last year we had 15-16 rooms

I blocked off 20 rooms, 10 of each.

Not an issue now, but the closer we get to show day, the scarcer the rooms get.

As of this morning all 20 rooms have been snatched up. We (Robert), will call the manager on Monday to see if we can get more added.

ALL ROOMS ARE GONE!

Manager said they have 7 vacant rooms left on the property.

Which I'm still shocked at. I sent in pictures a couple weeks ago and both wagons were approved. I'm hoping to have the white one there.

Just got finished paying for my daughters Senior trip to Disney World maybe I could just ride on the School bus to WF since my transmission took a dump on me in my wagon.
Y'all have fun and I will have to put this on my "to do list" one year, sounds like fun!

Wish you could have made it, but there's always next year, lol. Always during the Spring Turkey Run, last weekend of March. There are also other events around the US (mostly east though).

My show registration just came in the mail today. For any first timers, the registration is a post card, so be sure to check your mail carefully, and don't let anyone in your family throw it away thinking it's junk mail. It took less than 2 weeks for me to get mine, so be on the look out if you haven't gotten yours yet.

I got mine a few days ago. Pretty sure it was Orangeish this year. (not at home so can't check)
