Hotel Info

Alright, we have a block of 10 rooms at the La Quinta inn that's about a mile from the track. The rooms will be $59 a night plus tax (12.5%, I believe).

All you have to do is call the hotel and mention the Wagon Club Group

Hotel's # is 386-255-7412. If there is any trouble, ask for Michael Pulinski.

You MUST have your room booked by March 16th. You may cancel anytime between the day you book and 6pm on March 30th.


They ARE allowing us to grill on site, if we so choose. So if anyone's interested in that, we can probably pool a couple of bucks together and do something on the fly. Alternatively, there is Wing House that's RIGHT next to our hotel, and I knoooooow that place is good. It's a frequent stop of mine on my home to school trips.

757s rarely come here. Biggest is usually a MD88.

I was going to reserve a room for Friday night but they told me there was a 2 night minimum. Not doing that.

Hmmm... I will have to discuss with them. I'll let you know.

However, if you stay Saturday night and go to the show Sunday you'll get to take your car onto the track. That's worth it for me.

You're right Ray, but I am not that interested in the track and Sunday is just too slow. Let me know if you find out something different than the 2 day minimum. Thanks, Glenn

glenn, try orbitz or one of those for Friday night. Last time I checked it was only a couple dollars more that way. Also, the Holiday in across the street, GOFASST has a block of rooms you can get in on, see other threads on here for details, not sure of a minimum night on that one.

Took a couple tries and letting the phone ring for like 5 minutes, but I got someone eventually and booked Fri and Sat.

I just booked for the friday night. No issues.

Ray, thanks but my son is going with me and he is working Friday night. So, I will come in early Saturday. It's really no problem. Looking forward to it. Thanks for looking out for me.
