Cross-referencing weird sizes? Empty
PostSubject: Cross-referencing weird sizes?   Cross-referencing weird sizes? Icon_minitimeFri Dec 09, 2016 6:51 pm

I think these would look cool on a wagon...
https://www.cokertire.com/tires/firestone-wide-oval-radial-rwl.html

But they come in weird sizes like "GR70-15"

Is there a way to cross-reference these to a format like "225/75r15"?

Thanks

All you had to do was google and you'd land on the same site:

Do you own a wagon yet?

Don't own a wagon yet. This is theoretical and planning in advance.
Also I swear on everything I googled tire size cross references for those weird numbers and that link you gave me was not in my results. But, thank you!

This gives you a tread width equivalent for the letter size tires. The sidewall height is a close cross reference to P radials 78=75, etc. https://www.search.com/web?qo=related-searches&qsrc=1&page=2&q=conversion%20table%20for%20tire%20sizes&sd=0

I believe the letter tires are limited to 15 inch rims. Numerous sidewall heights for different diameters may not be available. It is the nature of the beast.

Dear god that's just too confusing for me... I'll just go with the 225/75r15 American Classic whitewalls if I can't decipher these tires.

I really like these though, especially those Firestone wide ovals:
