| One issue is making sure that the ignition circuit will no longer "see" the position of the old column shifter. It is wired up so that the starter solenoid will only get juice in Park or Neutral.
I had that as an early issue when I went to my B&M Mega-shifter, that the old column turned an locked out the starter circuit. Being an old geezer it slips my mind If I ever fixed it or how. | |

| i have the column turn when i put flr shifter in gear, i just was not sure about spring it seams to not want to come out threw the old hole in colmn. was trying to avoid taking column apart. i think i will just fill in hole with jb weld and leave the spring in there. it works fine the way it is now | |
