New member to the forums! I bought a '95 Roadmaster wagon last fall to replace a 2001 BMW 7 series that won't stop breaking. I needed something with a truck-like hauling towing capacity but also something I could drive to work. Something I know I can fix and won't cost $800 for an alternator!

It's my second B body (I had a '95 9C1 Caprice for 6 years) and 3rd LT1 car so I'm familiar with the chassis, engine and aftermarket options. Once I discovered that the B body wagons could tow, I was sold that the Roadie would be the best compromise for everything I needed.

I've already swapped out the front shocks to Bilsteins (rears are in the garage along with airbags for the auto-leveling) and installed a big Hellwig front sway bar and an F body front chassis brace.) Lots of little things to do but I think the haggard wood trim is next on the list. I was going to remove it and paint the wagon black (not like an Impala; like a Grand National!) but the wood grain has grown on my and I think I'll restore it.

Hopefully I can contribute as much as a gain from the forum!
