| I can’t bring myself to cut the dash, to put in a double-DIN. Looking for something OEM to replace an aftermarket pioneer. The eBay prices for a ‘refurbished’ unit is more than I was willing to spend. I understand Your selling me a radio ‘as-is, no warranty’....but I trust you folks more than a random eBay seller. If your factory radio “worked when you pulled it out, been sitting on the shelf for years”. Please let me know what you want for it. I’m in metro Detroit, zip code 48313

| Pioneer made some 1.5 din radios DEH-P(45-77)DH. Sometimes they show up on ebay. They can price out between $50-250. The mount usually needs to be fiddled with a little, but they fill the cavity perfectly, and are extremely reliable. The have a CD drive. I have them in both of my cars. I like the knob volume version (47 and 77). The faces of the 47 and 77 are interchangeable so you can use either face on either unit. The difference between them is that the 77 has an internal theft system and the 47 does not. There are also some with push button electronic volume controls. The units have outputs for an amp, and subwoofer (45 and 75). The face is removable for security purposes.
Some people sell the faces separately, and I bought a unit without the face that worked just fine, when I put my face on it.
You could have a USB interface put on it as well. | |

| I actually have a pioneer DEH-P47DH in the car now. It’s a nice unit, but I don’t use the CD player. I’m just hunting for a stock GM radio, 1.5 DIN....something that dims along with the rest of the dash lights. If somebody mails me a good OEM unit, I’ll drop my pioneer unit into the box, and mail it back for free | |

| The problem I have is finding out if it is working. I am not going to tear my car apart to check it. | |

| I appreciate the thought, but I don’t wanna cause you any stress. You’ve done a lot for the community! I’m just feeling out if anyone had a unit that they didn’t need anymore. No urgency on my end. Maybe I’ll stroll thru the you-pull-it yard near me. | |

| A lot of other cars and trucks had the same radio. Some have both the CD, and tape decks. | |
