Obviously we all know that the vaccines started to be administered yesterday, thankfully! And, the Turkey Run happened just last month, so I think it's fair to say that the spring version will probably happen. Any one have any thoughts about getting together again for 2021? I'm getting my vaccine as soon as someone will let me, although everyone still suggests being careful until late summer or fall when all this will hopefully be behind us. Just throwing this out for everyone's thoughts.

I'm not taking any vaccine and am currently recovering from Covid 19.
if there is a show this spring, I will be there. I didn't get a refund from this years tickets so I'll be darned if I let it go to waste

There will be one in NY in July if I have to suck the blood out of Nancy Pelosi to get the vaccine.

I'll be there with my 91 OCC. Large vehicles make social distancing easy.

Its the same weekend as the Holden Extravaganza in Valdosta, GA. Since I now own two Caprice PPVs...I think I'm going to hit that up this time around. I do still have my ticket from last year if someone wants it? I'm guessing it would work? I did help pay for some pad parking too...so guessing they transferred that over to 2021? Sprocket?

I would think so. Need to check with the SOFASST guys as I sent them the money for the pads so we would all be together.

I am finally catching up on wagonfest. I have had overheating issues with the 454, but hope to have them resolved by then. If I do not get it sorted out, I will bring the White Elephant. I got my room reserved, and have my ticket from last year.

15 rooms blocked off for March 26 and 27. $87.15 per night. Reservation name has been changed due to past abuse (her words, not mine), so for this year, you will need to reserve under "GM Longroof Group" for the discount. Cutoff date for the rate is March 5, after that, normal rates apply.
I already reserved my room...

Yep. Hell, I've been here since last July waiting for the rest of you to show up!
I'll set it up for the Seneca Lake State Park for July sometime, and post the info here. In the past we've tried to hit the same weekend as "Cruise Night" in Geneva. That's important for some regulars, and less so for others. The folks who organize the city's weekend events are mute on whether that will happen in 2021, but NY is slowly reopening. Vaccination rates are approaching 50% now, so restrictions on gatherings are more relaxed. Traffic on this site is down unfortunately, but I'd like to hear from those interested in showing up what they'd enjoy most. We might run the cars on Friday night at Watkins Glen, try a cruise around the area, and have a lakeside BBQ. There has also been a classic car show at a local winery (Goose Watch), and if they go ahead with it, we might gather there for one of the days. Folks would be on their own for hotel arrangements unless someone else wants to take on that task. I'll reserve space at the park. Let's hear it: who wants to drive to Geneva this summer?

Hi Dave
We'll be coming, we're vaccinated and ready. Talked to Dave, Lynol and Motorhead John, last night; they'll be coming. When you iron out the date, I'll call the Hotel.
thanks

I contacted the Geneva BID, and there will NOT be a Cruisin' Night this summer. So, that allows us some flexibility in dates. I think we should still shoot for mid-late July.
I'll check out Goose Watch Winery to see if they are thinking about a car show, and what's up at Watkins Glen and report back shortly.
I'll also start a new thread just for WAGONFEST NY 2021, to avoid any mix-ups with above posts that relate to the Florida event already in the past.
Lets' hear from the Pod. Who's interested, and who is committed to drive to NY?

Alright, WE'RE ON for Friday (7/23), Saturday (7/24) and Sunday (7/25) of July. I'll start a new thread as this one is mixed up with the immediate past Wagonfest in FL. Please move future traffic to the new thread: "WAGONFEST NEW YORK 2021"

Bummer, I would like to bring big green back out to see ya Dave, but that weekend is already double booked for our family. We are most likely going a similar distance to the west instead of the east. Maybe 2022
