Impala SS brake calipers

I can pick up a set of loaded calipers from a low mileage 95 Impala SS just wondering if they are an upgrade (heavy duty) or does my 94 wagon use the same calipers . Thanks !

Thanks ! I've owned a few cars with "police /service packages "and some of the components were different . When I had to replace a water pump on my 93 wagon the guy at NAPA told me it had severe service components which were not the same as a regular Roadmaster and all I've read on Impalas SS 's over the years stressed the same components as a 9C1 Caprice .

No. 9C1 front calipers accept slightly thicker pads. Not the same as SS. You can get 9C1 calipers to put on your wagon, but they offer zero performance upgrade, just longer (wear) service interval (only if you get the thicker 9C1 pads). Just get a good set of pads for what you have ;-)
