AC and Wipers Quit at same time... Empty

OK, this is a strange one...

95 Roadmaster Wagon...

My AC Compressor went bad and I ended up replacing all the parts and it works great for about 3 min.
I also have a problem with the wipers stop working after a few min also...
So, as a test on a cold engine I started the car with AC and wipers on and they both stopped at the same time.
I can not find any where in the wiring diagram where these two share a component.

Any ideas, theories or jokes welcome...

Thanks, Justin

If you run one or the other do they still stop after 3 minutes? Do they work every time you start the car from cold? Do they work for a few minutes after sitting idle for a while?

Check your grounds. They may use the same one.

Check all of the circuit breakers as well. When components use just a little bit too much current, they tend to act like a timer. Sometimes GM forgets to tell you that they changed something.

I am assuming that you did not do anything to the wipers, and that they worked properly before the AC rebuild. If that is so, I would suspect the AC system. You could disconnect the AC parts, and see if the wipers still act up. Did you replace the AC compressor clutch?

I do not have the FSM for a 95, so I cannot help you a lot with the trouble shooting.

It was a broken ground wire located next to the coil pack. There are 5 grand connections on one post...
One was broken and one was almost broken...
I just happen to be dark out as I poked around looking for sparks... strange but effective at finding shorts...
Thanks to Fred for the reply and thanks to all who read and pondered on this issue....
