since i have my front door panels off to rebuild/reinforce, i thought would be a good time to update the front door speakers - which on the 91-93 are a 4x6 inch opening for anyone who wonders - forget what size the 94-96 were but i recall installing round ones in the fronts of my old 96.
anyway, as you can see in the pics here, these are very likely the originals - pig tail attaachment, delco printing / made in Singapore?!
and what looks like an uncommon 10 ohm rating.
not sure if 12v car systems are different than home systems, but amps not equipped to handle lower ohm speakers - ie 4 vs 8 or 16ohms can actually be ruined by trying to power lower ohm speakers. - the lower the ohm, the more juice they require.

https://www.lifewire.com/speaker-impedance-3134705planning on swapping the head unit out - some broken pos jensen aftermarket - for a vintage roadmaster one i got a while back - cd with EQ - to keep the look original for now.
checking crutchfield and pretty much all speakers are 4 ohm, and a few 3 ohm - which IS common for most modern car systems.
any techies who can enlighten me?
