Good job Pat, Don't mess around much longer before waterloo, get driving it ,emblems can be done in a day. Ask me how I know?
Had the sending unit give out this past weekend going to the Atlantic Nationals car show.I was lucky and found a garage that found and installed a new one but Friday was lost and a half dozen brown bills with it. All because I never drove it prior. There, now you are jinxed.

As always my same old record is playing................."Looks dam good Pat" the days are dwindling fast, hope your passport shows up, or I'll have to go see you.
My beast has been crying for atttention, Still haven't painte dinside the doors yet I only did the back gate one. My baby needs some more work as well. She asked for spark plugs, oil change, O2 sensor, Intake gasket, throttle body gasket, valve cover gaskets, and she is really crying for a clean interior. Lots of work to be done before going with all the other things that need to be done. Not to mention my dad's wagon has some issues that need attention. He added a few more upgrades to his beast last week.
well all in all we'll be there hell or high water. Ooops probably shouldn't have said the water thing, huh! we've had enough of it for now. Pray for sunshine that weekend.
Have a good day.

Frank would never let his tire jack get dusty like that. Sorry, try again.
Have you been told today? I did a Frank on the spare tire not the Jack, it's been there through the whole process of course there is dust on it.....I'll get to it, just can't say it will get dusted before wagon fest...

Thanks for all the words of encouragement guys.... it's been a long 14 months since I first started to tear into this wagon thinking that I was only facing rusted out rear quaters and a few holes in the rear wheel wells.....
All the mods that I've done to this wagon I did cause I like em and my main goal was to build what I think GM should have from the start, from the sedan nose to the power rear vent windows Most of the cosmetic mods I'm planning on are done or will be in the next few nights, I've not had the time to tackle any of the performance and handling mods before this years wagon fest, I've got another 12 months before next year's wagon fest to do those mods....and more
some of you may already know but I am going to take in Mike's blue 92 Custom Cruiser project I have plans for it.....

Today I did plenty, but nothing really visible, I finished up the LED third brake light installation, removed the OEM third, looks clean. I also cleaned off all the over spray from all the windows, changed the head light wire harnest so I could get the sedan lights to work. Fun work too.... I also installed the sedan four horn system, I'm not happy with the sound, seems I need to get some better horns, it don't sound right.
I also sorted all the RMW parts I have in the shop, tagged and stored them in a safe dry place
One ghost in the system, the issue is that my cornering lights don't work, but work when I take them out of the light housings... bad sockets or bulb issue?

checked, all the ground straps and wires are tight and clean, so I'm leaning on bad sockets.....
tonight I concentrated on the finding a power source for the power vent windows, I followed Mike's advice and it actually worked so I now officially have working power vent windows! it's so nice to open and close the vents from the driver's seat!
I also finished the belt line trim for the driver's fender skirt, still have the passenger's side to do...
and Finally I made up two long peices of rubber trim for the rear quater belt line trim. the OEM peices had shrunk almost 2 full inches, I do not want to use aftermarket trim like I have on the white 91 so I cut and spliced some old pre shrunk sections of rubber trim so I could make two long peices the right length for the rear quaters
pictures to come...
I still have to bond the rubber trim to the belt line trim, paint them once on, finish making the passenger side fender skirt trim, and bond the trim to the skirts. then the cleaning and detailing can start...so I hope to be done by this time wednesday....

That's gotta be my favorite mod too. I usually forget about the vent windows because I hardly use them. By the time I remember, I have to stop the car, get out, and pop the hatch to open them.
Where did you get those motors from? I know you told us before, but I don't feel like searching. Thanks and as always, the wagon looks awesome.

So by the sounds of it you got your passport, cool! Love the vent window mod. Also next time your trying to take overspray off your glass just use "0000" steel wool. Been doing that for over 20 years. Doesn't scratch the glass and works fast.

I was told by more than a few of you at wagonfest to expect that some people might want to buy my Roadmaster. Last night at a local cruise night there was a few individuals hovering around it like Lorne at a senior's home.
What would you guys think is a fair price for it, it's a 93 TBI LO5 with 140000kms, that's about 86000miles, and it's been fully modified both in the exterior and interior?
I'm not thinking of selling but I would like an idea of what the right offer should be. If enough cash is put under my nose I could allways build a better one.

It's hard to put a value on such a custom built car really. It's hard to even say what the wagon would be worth without the mods. It's a rust free (now) low mileage car but it is also a TBI which are worth less than an LT1 car unfortunately.
Your car, I'd say (and this is my opinion) no less than $5,000 probably more. We all know how much sweat you've put into that car so it's likely worth a LOT more than that to you or any of us wagon nuts.

I agree with Mike. With the blood, sweat and tears you have put into this car over the past year, anything less then 5K would be travesty. It no longer falls into the "used car" category and is worth what the buyer is willing to give for the custom work. The TBI should not be an issue as it should be more about the look then if it can log 12 sec 1/4s.
Like everything else, my opinion plus a buck and a half will buy you a coffe at Timmys.
