Since we had a nice mid day storm and my father had his pickup at work, we had to figure out a way to get our snowblower across town to dig out my grandparents, here is the result. The tailgate shut completely.

Speaking from experience, if you take the two bolts out for the handles, you can put a snowblower in upright.

I thought about that. But having never done it, I diddn't want to take the risk and then have to explain why his snowblower is in two pieces Laughing

Once I hauled 2 storm doors and enough treated wood to build a set of stairs 4 feet wide and a total of 5 steps plus the handrails.Kid at home depot said I needed a truck and I just laughed as he loaded everything in with ease.
If you think a 5 litre is slow'try driving one with about 1000 pounds of trated lumber in the back!!!!
