More will be added to this thread over the next few days as things solidify. In borrowing Joel's idea for a single informational thread about events, places to stay, etc, I'll keep this thread locked. If you see something that's wrong or would like something added, send me a PM. We'll continue to use the other thread for general discussion, ideas and such.

Schedule of Events -

tentative for now, will be updated as things evolve

Friday:
Hang out and mini-mod day and Mike's home.
5pm Informal cruise to dinner at Spelunkers

Saturday:
10am – 4pm WagonFest Mid-Atlantic, Shelter #1 at Gertrude E. Miller Park
(drinks and snacks will be available during the day, no lunch meal planned)
4pm Approximate 45minute cruise from the shelter via a slight detour to dinner. Planned route - http://mapq.st/ni3QoT
5pm Dinner at Casteriana's Italian Restaurant in Front Royal

Take US 522/340 South towards Front Royal
Bear left in town, staying on 522/340
Turn left at the first light on 522 (340 continues straight)
Turn left at second intersection onto East 8th Street
Make first left onto Stadium Drive
Pavilion 1 is on the left just past Bing Crosby Stadium (on right)

In town
Depending on your location, find your way to US522 and take it north into town
Turn right onto East 8th Street, it's just past Marlow Motors (Chrysler/Dodge dealer)
Make first left onto Stadium Drive
Pavilion 1 is on the left just past Bing Crosby Stadium (on right)

Points South via US 340
Take 340 North into town, at John Marshall Highway (US 55) turn right and stay in the left lane
Turn left onto US 522 North
Turn right onto East 8th Street, it's just past Marlow Motors (Chrysler/Dodge dealer)
Make first left onto Stadium Drive
Pavilion 1 is on the left just past Bing Crosby Stadium (on right)

Points South via US 522
Take US 522 North into town and remain on this road for a bit

This isn't an exhaustive list as there are many smaller independent hotels/motels in and near Front Royal. Most camp locations are independent as well. TripAdvisor (link below) lists some of the smaller ones. There are also many hotels along the I-81 corridor and in Winchester with travel times to Front Royal varying.

Front Royal, Virginia – “Canoe Capital” “Gateway to Skyline Drive”
