| i have been toying with the thought of putting the oldsmobile grill, badging and hood ornament on my caprice. i know they made a CC in 92 but i can never seem to have the money when a nice 92 pops up. so im toying with the idea of making my chevy into an olds.... i have all the stuff. so id have a smooth top olds. maybe just a delta 88 wagon not a custom cruiser! why? i just like the way the OCC grille and such looks never really did care for the chevy.
Oh btw anyone need and OCC grill? local u pull it just got a fairly clean silver OCC

| Ian I dont need it but if I were you I would strip that OCC quick.Silver is a rare color for OCC and someone will want them for sure.Nice idea on the OCC conversion and if it makes you happy, DO IT! Jim |

| Go for it! With all the Chevy-ized Roadmasters I've seen (with Impala grille and wheels), it's time to turn the tables on one of the Bowties. | |

| I need the driver's side front, rear doors, and rear quarter cladding if they are nice. I also need the passenger's side front door cladding. All need the metal mount on the bottom, and unbroken pins. What color is the interior? I need a nice red tailgate interior with the holes along the top in good shape.
If you are going to put the grille on, get the bumper cover too. The bumper support on the caprice is the same as the Olds. That would make it really nice.

| I've thought making a Delta 88 or a 98 out of a Caprice would be cool. Slap a Cruiser front bumper and grille. Fender and front door cladding are bolt on, possibly back door too. All you'd need to figure out is how to do the quarter panels and rear bumper. Do it! | |

It,s simple you go and buy an oldsmobile! your total lack of respect for caprice wagons offends me,. your right to own a caprice wagon should be revoked,. stay with your buick wagon and its fake wood stickers,.. you will be taking away the soul of the caprice wagon,. you are cheapening the caprice wagon, by trying to make it look like a defunct old oldsmobile,.and that is a disgrace!! I,m sorry but this is one thing that pisses me off more than fake wood stickered wagons,. and people who paint their grilles body color, thinking it will make their wagons look sportier, rather than cheapening the class of the car like it does,. Louis would be turning in his grave,.. Nick - a1awind wrote:

why do you want to take the soul away from a buick? im sorry but that is one thing that pisses me off more than anything! would you put a scion grille on a lexus? would you put a honda grille on an acura? how about a smart car grille on a mercedes?
you are cheapening a buick. and to me sir, that is a disgrace! you will make the buick gods angry! not to mention that is overdone as hell!
perhaps an alternative.... bigblackbeasst and 200oz both have body color buick grilles and it really "sporties" up the car.
or you could change out to an oldsmobile grille! thats a lateral move and not to mention if you have an LT1 you could be the only one to have and LT1 olds.

you dare use my own rhetoric against me! i refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed man! i just never cared for the look of the caprice in comparison with the buick and oldsmobile. woodgrain is a pain in the butt ..id rather have a wb4 but i could find one in as good a shape as TiKi! I assume you mean Louis Chevrolet. Dave Buick and Ransom Olds could kick his ass in a fight. Besides we all know that the GSX and 442 were better than the chevelle. Buick and olds did it to chevy again in the 80s with the Gran National and 442.now you sit down and let me be a hypocrate or I'll put a crown vic grill and ford badges on it!
