http://www.evapo-rust.com/

I have used this stuff at work in the past with good results and decided to try some at home.

Took apart the front grill support, which has stained my front bumper.

It works better (faster) in an ultrasonic tank.

Left side is what I started with, the right sat in the Evapo Rust overnight.

Just wanted to share my results!

Looks great! I've used Naval Jelly before, but it's pretty gooey. This stuff looks to be more friendly to the environment as well. I have a few parts that have surface rust so I may pick up some of this stuff.

Watched the little video...looks nice nice stuff. Looks like the metal has to sit in the solution....so it might work for some bolts and smaller pieces on the front of my RMW project!

Can I ask how much it $$ roughly?

I've used some of the rust converter you can buy at the parts houses; seems to work well.

The most recent rust removal I've tried is the homemade electrolysis setup. That worked GREAT, and it's dirt cheap. Positioning of the metal rods is very critical though, as the electrolysis basically works in a straight-line path.
