| Are you going to install that missing headbolt last? Are those the same headers or a new set? What oil are you going to break it in on?Lots of zinc additive I hope like Royal Purple or from Jack Roush maybe! |

| Funny guy Jim..............
I am going to use some Dino oil for the first two changes. The first I drink will include a bottle of Comp Cams break in fluid. First change at 500 or 1000 depending on what it looks like. Second change I will go 3000 miles and then go to Mobil 1. Will stick with Mobil 1 and 6000 mile changes after that.

| Mobil One has been a leader since it was first introduced.Do you remember how costly it was when it first hit the shelves?I have been using the Castrol GTX Synblend since it came out and have been very happy with it.Since I only drive about 1500 to 2000 miles a year,I try to change mine yearly. These short drives are hardest on my engine since it rarely gets run at higher engine speeds or fully warmed up. |

Nick I have a magnet for the filter on the Impala. I will swap it over for the break in on the wagon. I was amazed at the crap that come out of the Impala motor on the first change after the rebuild.

| Tonight I finished wiring the motor, plugs, alternator, heater hoses, and starter.
left to do drive shaft, tranny fluid, oil, hook up exhaust, cats, plug in O2's, radiator, burp the power steering and coolant, put battery in, replace hood and I should be done. May able to get a couple of hours tomorrow.
We will see!!! | |

| Well I got it button'd up on Friday and then the issues began. First the steam hose on the back of the heads leaked. I used after market banjo bolts and seals and thier seals did not work!!!! Found one at a dealer locally and reused one, seemed to be "ok" but not perfect. So I ordered seals from a local dealer and will put in when they get here. So I programmed the computer and did a trial start. Did not start and I felt the fly wheel moving through the clutch pedal. Not good!!!! The no fire was spark plug wires mixed up..... , the clutch not so easy. Pulled the tranny and noticed the clutch was rubbing on the fork. Called Summit, but need to talk to Ram on Monday. Seems the clutch is to deep for this application. Bolts were all tight and correct, not looking forward to putting it back in. Might go a buy a tranny jack. Two steps forward and 5 back!!!! | |

Removed the flywheel to check the bolt length and be sure I have the flywheel fully seated. I had it on right. It is not the flywheel install or bolts.
