| Thanks for the 65 pics! Looks like a 327 car?
I like "your" choices, too. I find myself looking at chrome bumper C3s every couple of months. The twin to the GNX comes to a local show here. It is perfect...

| Nice pics Lorne!
Those rims on the Cougar were a dealer option (learned that the other day).
That Austin Healey is a BT7, which was the model that immediately preceded mine. Both are badged as MK II, but that one is a roadster and mine a true convertible.

| Hey Lorne, I know that Pontiac in Canada used a lot of Chevy parts in their cars. Often engines, dashboards and such. The Chevy rally wheels on that yellow GTO really stood out until I remember that Canadian Ponchos were half Chevy. Are those correct?

| No, Pontiacs didn't get Chevy wheels/caps. Just engine/transmissions. Beaumonts are another story... | |

| Glad you guys had something to browse over cereal like I have done many mornings on this forum. 2000 plus cars, hot,to the point where the ambulance was called for two during he awards. You must be present to win, so we are at their mercy like hornets in a pop bottle. Mike that GTO has been owned by that man for 30 years. The pictures don't do it justice.I will ask him about the wheels. The owner of the motel is a real car guy, goes to Sema every year,Barrett-Jackson,....and we love getting together at his place annually. The GTO broke the transmission one year, and they had It back on the road in 4 hours, great peace of mind for out of towners. I posted his truck in the past, but for those who never saw,it was built in the Motel owners garage behind the GTO. In there now is a 67 Chevelle, can't believe I didn't get pics. He bought this new in 1979 . It won two or maybe even three years go now, time flys at this age,and It was nowhere to be seen,I didn't ask. Some others that may be of interest. Just too many to see. Moncton is my hometown,My parents and Jacqueline's still live here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA_ng0Mlndg&feature=youtube_gdata_player | |

http://gbodyforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=39231 As far as the cry babies on that forum,I personally spoke to the Chairman Saturday nite,as he was eating with Gene Winnfield, and reminded him of the first time my wagon was entered. He personally inspected it,and it now seems like he has let others do it on his behalf, and yea, there was some junk there he admits. Nothing personal against Jeff's Wagon, but putting wheels on a car that is far from show quality, isn't inline with he price of admission. What some need to understand,is this isn't a weekly cruise to the mall,if you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. The vettes are in an area by themselves, and that club plays a big part in the event as organizers,as do the mustang guys.
