| I installed a micro-toggle switch in the left kick panel, because the doors sometimes spend a lot of the time open. It's easy to wire, easy to get to, & out of the way. | |

| Jimbeau. What color wire did you splice the switch into?
I'm assuming that if you forget to throw the switch the second time, the light stay out. | |

| I put the switch in 7 or 8 years ago; I finally got around to making a little hole for it in the kick panel. It's been tucked in behind the gap there all this time. I put it in because of all the time (years ago) that I spent screwing around with the interior and i didn't like the lights being on all the time. I'll see if I can fish up the wiring diagram. | |

| Here's info I saved about the switch: Left kick panel behind the hood pull. White connector. Two white wires in connector. Look carefully at connector for letters on the face (i.e. A B C D etc.) White wire "D" is the one you want. Cut it and insert your switch. (my car came from New York state with the wire cut so all I had to do was insert the switch) | |
