| Where can I purchase a new steering damper for my 94 Roady? Rock Auto doesn't have them and neither does AZ. | |

| Rock auto should have them I just bought one for my Fleetwood a few months ago. I think it was MOOG brand.

| I just did a little more thinking and did a search for Fleetwood steering dampers and they ARE available for our Cadillac cousins. Strange they wouldn't list them under Roadmaster too. | |

| I just saw that. I am pricing a new steering set up for my wagon and they don't list them for the wagons. | |

| For what it's worth, the steering damper on my '94 failed and I just took it off. As long as your variable effort sensor on the steering shaft is not intermittent, the car drives fine. Alternately, you can wire in a bypass to leave the car in minimum boost at all times and that will also minimize the need for a damper. | |

| I rebuilt the front end in my caddy with Proforged parts. I thought about it long and hard and decided to drop the extra 100 for the steering damper center link to maintain the original steering feel. | |

| Just make sure you transfer the "Dynaride" sticker from the old damper to the new damper, if it's still there. | |

| I got one for my Fleetwood not too long ago from RockAuto. There is a difference with it installed, but I drove around without it for a while. I wouldn't say it's critical, but I'm a stickler for having things operate as designed. | |
