Wagonfest 2013 update

To assure you all of progress on Wagon fest 2013. The same site as in years past has been booked again at Seneca Lake State Park, just east of Geneva NY. for Saturday July 27, 2013. As was the case last year, we will have the 20x40 Party Tent. Judging from positive comments by attendees, it worked out well, was centralized to the vehicles and bathrooms were just a few steps away. Additionally, campared to the brick pavilions, it is more cost effective, and hepls to fee fees down.

Anticipate the same general format as wast year. I will be checking to see if the car show in downtown Geneva will be the same weekend.

Sadly I will be attending a airbruah seminar in Boston area that weekend, unless of course it gets canceled.

There are Two nearby; Sampson state park is about 15 minutes south on Rt96A

A private campground is very near the Micro-motel where many Wagonfestering folk usually stay nearby in Waterloo Ny

Keep in mind that the site of Wagonfest, Seneca Lake State Park, is a day park only, NO CAMPING.

For other activities nearby, if you like hiking there is the gorge trail of Watkins Glen State Park at the south end of Seneca Lake.

It might be! I recall when I was 13 we took a motor home to Toronto and back - I might do that trip again! It was a blast.

I'll probably be there. Depends if I don't break the bank in FL.

I will be in attendance. Looks great Dave, just as last year you have it covered (no pun intended).

I am "the" holiday in crew, as most everyone stays at the Microtel. We camp one of the years and had a great time. Likely will not pull the camper unless the wife does not go. If that happens maybe we can set up a bachelor camping spot.

For all the campers, we stayed at Cayuga Lake State Park. It is just a couple of miles past the Microtel, which gives you the option to hang out with the crew and still be close at the end of the night. It is a fairly nice campground nice big sites. Fairly clean bathrooms and quiet (when we were there).

I plan on passing out on the front lawn of the Microtel next to my Roadmaster. Saves paying for a hotel room.
