Wagonfest T-shirt for 2013

I'd like to gather some ideas for a T-shirt for this year's Wagonfest.
Any thoughts, suggestions, and ideas can be posted up here.

Are there any wagon colors left? I've got my Light Driftwood Metallic and Dark Cherry Metallic shirts - I'm good.

I liked the 2009 in light driftwood. Mine is shot. Black would be second choice.

Any design ideas s well?

Black shirt, white or light gray print. I like dark colors personally, hides the dirt.
Has there been a MAB shirt yet? with chrome print? Is that possible?

On the front: Small side view "Bewbs edition" mafia wagon from the last few years, "WagonFest" under the wagon.

On the back: Large rear 3/4 view wagon from years past on the back. "WagonFest" written above the wagon, and "Geneva, NY" written below the wagon. Maybe a one liner instead of Geneva, NY., like "Coupes are for chickens". There's some of my ideas.

Nick, thanks for the input. Are you thinking the front only, with the back unadorned? As much as some people may like the "Wagon Mafia" stuff, simply, I think it's a subset of wagon interests and culture. I would hope to keep the broader interest in mind for Wagonfest.

I agree that a polo shirt would be an interesting choice, and a change of pace for us all. As you pointed out it could be worn anywhere, and has a touch of class to it. I also like polo shirts more than Tees as well. Kind of makes me think that it's about time this forum should consider a few shirts, mugs, and hats available to us.. Maybe like Zazzle.com or similar vendor.

I'd would take some research to come up with prices that are reasonable. If you or anyone else, have any leads in that direction, I'd appreciate them being posted here.


Our old forum friend, Bewber (Boobzout) has been the past vendor, but with no disrespect intended, it seems he may have moved on from wagon forum interests. Although it could easily be that last time I heard, he no linger had his internet connection at home, and may simply have very limited contact in an online manner.

So where are we on the shirts Dave?

I was working on the art for it this weekend. 3/4 view from rear, showing passenger side, the opposite view from years past. I can get Tees printed locally for $10.00. I could not come up with embroidered Polos for under twenty. 

 I'll take suggestions on them being r either red with black ink or black with white ink. I'll start an oordering thread later in the week when I firm the details  of the imaging up with the printer.
 
 I had previously asked about interest from the entire forum about  forum oriented shirts, mugs etc,  from a place like Zazzle.com and got almost  no response from over six hundred members.

Nick, for the record, I thought you had some good ideas. I have no problem at all if you want to  make the effort  and take on the task to have an embroidered shirt prepared for those who want one.  The response in this thread was minimal, but then only twenty people have signed up for WF this year thus far.

 The other  thread I started about forum related products like mugs tee and polos unfortunately  went nowhere. Personally I would enjoy having  a polo shirt as you described erarlier with the wagon outline and the website address within. Doesn't need to have wagonfest even mentioned. I be one of the first to order if you can make arrangements.

Here's a rough copy of the intended artwork for this year. For viewing purposes, I didn't worry about getting every white dot out of the picture. The T shirt will be cleaner, this is to give you an opportunity to see what it would be like on a red shirt.

 
 There will be another thread showing up to actually place orders showing up soon, this weekend I hope, after I firm up details with the printer.

Needs a sexier font....IMHO

Ain't gonna happen. Every time something gets changes  when it is saved it induces more false pixels that need  additional correcting. Every change in magnification to fix one area, tends to mess up several other sections. it becomes a real degraded mess quickly.

Since the T-shirt design has been finalized and sent to the printer, all non-pertinent comment has been removed and the topic locked. If you want to order a shirt it may be done in the other thread. 

For the record the 2011 shirt  simply listed the location as New York, and the 2012 shirt said Geneva NY. All prior references to Waterloo had been part of a business logo for  Ruphrax's (Fred"s) business, North Star Auto, and bigstationwagons.com.  That business no longer exists, as Fred moved away in 2010. The event itself  has always been in the same place, held in Geneva, it hasn't moved.
